Title:
NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR CIVIL ENGINEERING MATERIAL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2003013355
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To obtain a nonwoven fabric for a civil engineering material having a soil-withstanding strength and in-plane flow performance of fixed levels or above, capable of shortening the shortest banking application possibility period.

Polyester filaments 1 are made into thick thread state, arranged in a weight of 70-210 g/m2 in the warp direction of the nonwoven fabric 3. Polypropylene staple fiber webs 2 having 7.0-35.0 dtex are arranged in a weight of 300-900 g/m2 on both sides of the nonwoven fabric and needle punched in 4-10 mm thickness to give ≥5×10-2 cm2/sec in-plane flow performance. The polyester filaments 1 are made into a thick thread state of ≥2,222 dtex. The tensile strength of the nonwoven fabric in the warp direction is ≥200 kg/5 cm and that in the weft direction is ≥100 kg/5 cm.
