Title:
NONWOVEN FABRIC OF FILAMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3951147
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric of filament excellent in adhesiveness, flexibility and touch to the skin, by using a thermally fusible conjugated yarn comprising a low-melting or low-softening olefin-based copolymer mixed with a specific higher fatty acid (metal salt) and a crystalline thermoplastic resin.
SOLUTION: An olefin-based copolymer composed of 85-99wt.% of propylene by 1-15wt.% of ethylene or an olefin-based terpolymer composed of 84-97wt.% of propylene, 1-15wt.% of 1-butane and 1-10wt.% of ethylene is mixed with 500-5,000ppm of at least one of a straight-chain higher fatty acid (metal salt) of the formula ((n) is an integer of 10-30; (m) is the number of unsaturated bonds in the fatty chain; X is at least one metal atom selected from H, Li, K, Na, Ca, Mg, Zn, etc.; (a) is the valence of ion) to give a first component. The first component and a crystalline thermoplastic resin such as polypropylene are made into an eccentric sheath-core type state to give a conjugate yarn, which is spun to give the objective nonwoven fabric by a spun bond method.
