Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a nonwoven fabric for a filter having high strength even in the case of a low basis weight, and having a uniform tone; and to provide a filter medium for a liquid filter or a filter medium for an air filter having a long life, and hardly broken even under a high pressure.SOLUTION: In a nonwoven fabric for a filter, which is wet type nonwoven fabric containing non-fusible stretched polyethylene terephthalate fibers and thermo-fusible binder fibers, a fiber length of the stretched polyethylene terephthalate fibers is 7-12 mm, and a fiber length of the binder fibers is 1-12 mm.SELECTED DRAWING: None
