Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new multifunctional polylactate-based filament nonwoven fabric decomposable in natural environment, having a certain flexibility while keeping excellent mechanical strength and exhibiting air-shielding property and water-shielding property.
SOLUTION: This polylactate-based filament nonwoven fabric is produced by using a polylactate-based polymer having a melt flow rate of 1-100g/10min measured in conformity to ASTM D-1238(E) at 190°C, melting the polymer at a temperature between (Tm+15)°C and (Tm+50)°C (Tm is the melting point of the polymer), extruding the molten polymer through a spinneret, thinning down the extruded fiber by drawing with a sucking apparatus at a take-up speed of 1,000-6,000m/min, depositing the fibers on a moving collection face under opening to form a web and heat-bonding one or both surfaces of the web as a whole with a full-face heat-bonding apparatus at ≤(Tm+5)°C under a linear pressure of a roll of ≥0.01kg/cm.
