PURPOSE: To obtain nonwoven or woven fabric, made of polypropylene, excellent in heat and tear resistances and bonding strength, etc., and hardly causing problems in defective film-forming properties or splittability, etc., in production thereof.
CONSTITUTION: This nonwoven or woven fabric made of polypropylene is obtained by laminating warp and weft of at least one uniaxially oriented material selected from (a) a longitudinally uniaxially oriented reticulated film 1 formed by laminating a bonding layer 3 comprising a mixture of a polypropylene-based resin with a polyethylene-based resin having a lower melting point than that of the polypropylene-based resin in a polypropylene-based resin layer 2 to one or both sides of the resin layer 2, (b) a transversely uniaxially oriented reticulated film and (c) a uniaxially oriented multilayer tape so as to cross the orientation axes through the bonding layer 3 or weaving the uniaxially oriented material.
