One of a pair of wireless base station devices generates a test packet including test data, stores replicated data having the same content as that of the test data, and transmits the test packet to the other wireless base station device together with originator information via a wireless communication network. The other wireless base station device receives the test packet that has arrived via the wireless communication network, generates a response packet including reception data included in the received test packet, and transmits the generated response packet to said one wireless base station device via a wired communication network by setting the originator as a destination. Said one wireless base station device receives the response packet via the wired communication network, compares the reception data included in the received response packet and the replicated data, and performs a device control process based on a result of the comparison.
