Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily open a switch and provide great contacting force and snap operation with small pressure by arranging a conductive member on a disc and engaging it with the outer periphery of the disc at plural contact tabs. CONSTITUTION: A switch 100 contains an insulating material circular base 102 with a hole 104, a terminal tab 110 extending from a spoke 108 at a static contact 106 in the hole. A disc 114, formed of insulating material for snap operation, is located on a recess 116 in the base 102, with the surface on the protruded side usually directed to a contact 106. An annular conductive member 118 encloses the disc 114 in the recess 116. A member 118 has three contact tabs 119 for pushing the disc 114 at rest against the contact 106. In addition, flexible members 140 are arranged on the tops of a retainer member 126 and a pressure convertor 130 and held together with an elastically sealing device 144.
