To provide a solenoid valve restrained in size increase while restrained in the oscillation of a plunger.
The plunger 4 is a non-magnetic body formed of resin, and one end side of the plunger 4 is connected to an armature 3. The other end side of the plunger 4 is formed with a spring receiving part 4a to which the end of a coil spring 11 is mounted. The plunger 4 is formed to be tapered from the spring receiving part 4a toward the other end side, and the tip is formed with a valve element 4b abutting on the seat 5a of a valve seat 5. The valve element 4b is formed into a substantially hemispherical shape. A pressure receiving part 4c is formed between the valve element 4b and the spring receiving part 4a. The plunger 4 is formed through injection-molding of resin using a molding die whose parting line is formed in the position of the pressure receiving part 4c.
