Abstract:
To provide: a method for mounting to a vehicle, a device for spreading shell pieces or the like onto a road surface as a slip prevention material on a frozen road surface without requiring any large-scale modification; and a spreader for shell pieces or the like, mountable by the method.SOLUTION: A spreader for slip prevention shell pieces or the like that has universality applicable to various types of vehicles comprises: a shell piece spreader body 1 with a compact configuration minimizing weight of a whole device including shell pieces or the like used as a slip prevention agent; and a harness system 4 adopting a structure of leather/cloth products covering a front end portion of a vehicle, so-called vehicular nose cover and nose bra and designed to enable bearing a heavy load, and allowing length of belts and attachment positions and angles of the belts to be changed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
