Abstract:
To provide a notch antenna and a portable radio communication terminal that can be used in communication over a plurality of communication frequency bands.
When the notch antenna 7X is to be resonated at a communication frequency band BL, a trap circuit 22 can bring a slit 5 to an open state in terms of high frequencies at a position of a slit length Lsh, and when the notch antenna 7X is to be resonated at a communication frequency band BH, the trap circuit 22 can bring the slit 5 to a closed state in terms of high frequencies at the position of the slit length Lsh. Thus, the resonance length of the notch antenna 7X can properly be changed depending on the communication frequency band BL or BH to be resonated.
