Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a strobe program shift type exposure control device which can make program shift when an object with a low and a high brightness is to be strobe photographed.
CONSTITUTION: An exposure control device is equipped with a photo-measuring means and a calculating means to calculate the exposure value on the basis of the photo-measuring value given by the photo-measuring means. wherein the arrangement further includes a means which substitutes the calculated exposure value with a lower limit exposure value, when the calculated exposure value given by the calculating means is smaller than the lower limit value capable of moving interlockingly while the operation is in the strobe program mode and also substitutes with the upper limit value when is greater than the upper limit valued, and a program shift means which alters the shutter speed and stop value while the lower limit or upper limit value as substitute is maintained at the time of program shift in the strobe program mode.
