PURPOSE: To allow the reception of changed data even if a display is not kept monitored at all times by displaying the data coinciding with the conditions set by an operator and reading out this data by voices.

CONSTITUTION: The set data is stored into the memory of a CPU 1 when the operator sets the operation to read out the display data by voices at the time when the change in the specific data exceeds a specified value by operating a keyboard display section 5 of a terminal control section 10. The data which a data receiving section 2 receives from a host computer 20 is successively supplied through the CPU 1 into a data storing and editing section 3 and is edited to a display format which is outputted to the CPU 1. The CPU 1 adds this output to voice output instruction information to output to an output control section 4 when the output coincides with the conditions instructed from the operator. The edited information is displayed on a display section 8. This information is read out by the voices via a voice synthesizing section 7 and a speaker 9. The changed data reception is thus executed without monitoring the display at all times.
