To solve the problem that it is impossible to supply any CATV signal due to the disconnection of a signal transmission path in a disaster or the like or the failure of a facility at a broadcasting station side at the time of receiving broadcasting by using a cable broadcasting service, for example, CATV network in a conventional notification broadcasting system, and that broadcasting whose listening is not required is generated as a noise in a subscriber house at night in the case of a receiver in an automatic switching system.

This notification broadcasting system is provided with: a broadcasting means 11 for sending a radio wave by superimposing a control signal and a voice signal on an FM broadcast stereo signal; an FM broadcasting receiving means 21 for demodulating it into an R signal and an L signal through the FM detection part of a terminal unit 2; a collating means 22 for collating the control signal with the identification number of the terminal unit; and an output signal 23 for starting a voice output part 23d according to a matching signal to send the voice signal from the voice output part to a speaker for performing notification broadcasting.
