Even if some sort of event for performing communication does not occur, communication is made at specific timing between the parent communication apparatus 1 and child communication terminal 2, thus enabling the user of the child communication terminal to quickly and reliably know that the user is out of a communication range where the communication with the parent communication apparatus cannot be made, and hence enabling the user to carry out an appropriate action such as return to the communication range.
