Abstract:
PURPOSE: To surely notify a base station of emergency information showing that an emergency occurs in a vehicle.
CONSTITUTION: Each vehicle A to E is provided with a transmission-reception device capable of switching an inter-base mode for communicating with a base station BS and an inter-vehicle mode for communicating with other vehicles. When A vehicle in which an emergency occurs, is not capable of transmitting emergency information directly to the base station BS because it locates outside of a service area SEA, it transmits the emergency information to other vehicles B to E by the inter-vehicle mode and other vehicles B to E which received this emergency information automatically transmit the emergency information to the base station.
