Abstract:
To provide a notification system for a vehicle that can properly notify an occupant, using an odor.SOLUTION: A notification system 1, which is mounted on a vehicle 2, comprises: an odor discharging device 17 that discharges an odor substance into a vehicle interior; a deodorizing device 19 that deodorizes the vehicle interior; a vehicle-state detecting device 10 that obtains information concerning a vehicle-state of the vehicle; and a control device 21 that controls the odor discharging device and the deodorizing device on the basis of a detected result obtained by the vehicle-state detecting device. The control device determines, on the basis of the detected result, whether or not to make notification using a sensed odor, and when determining to make the notification using the sensed odor, performs the notification by executing sequentially the steps of: driving the odor discharging device to discharge the odor substance over a predetermined discharging time; and, after elapse of the discharging time, driving the deodorizing device to deodorize the vehicle interior.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
