Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A 1-phthalazone derivative of formula I: [R1 and R2 are lower alkyl groups; R3 is alkyl group; R4 is cyano, formula II (R8 is alkyl, alkoxy, trifluoromethyl, phenyl group, etc.); R5 is cyano, formula III (R9 is alkyl, alkoxy, phenyl, pyridyl group, etc.); R6 is H, halogen, alkyl group, etc.; R7 is halogen, alkyl, or alkoxy(carbonyl) group].
EXAMPLE: The compound of formula IV.
USE: Drugs for arteriosclerosis, antithrombotics, and antithromboxans.
PROCESS: One mole of a compound of formula V is reacted with 2-3moles of a compound of formula IV in a solvent, e.g. benzene, at 80W120°C to give the objective compound of formula I.
