Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula (R is H or methyl).

EXAMPLE: N-Methacryloyl-2-amino-benzophenone.

USE: Useful as a raw material monomer for functional high polymer. The monomer has high functionality by itself. The monomer itself is polymerized or copolymerized with an olefinic double bond-containing compound to give a high polymer deterioration inhibitor and an ultraviolet light adsorber.

PREPARATION: 2-Aminobenzophenone is reacted with acrylic acid chloride or methacrylic acid chloride to give a compound shown by the formula.
