Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I (R1 is 1-3C alkyl, aryl, substd. methyl or phenoxymethyl; and R2 is Cl substed. phenoxymethyl or phenoxyethyl or substd. phenyl).
EXAMPLE: 0-(2,4-dichlorophenoxy)acetylchloroacetamidoxime.
USE: This new material is used as a selective herbicide and has high-order selectivity between a paddy or crops and weeds and shows excellent herbicidal activity to annual and prennial weeds.
PROCESS: A compd. represented by formula II and acyl chloride represented by formula III are reacted in the presence of a base (e.g.; triethylamine) in a solvent such as toluene at normal temp. for 1-5 hr to obtain the compd. represented by formula I.
