Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (R1 is group shown by formula II or III; R2WR9 are H, halogen or R2 and R3 are bonded to form unsaturated hydrocarbon chain; X is acetyl or alanyl; Y is H or amino-protecting group).
EXAMPLE: 2,6-Dichloro-N-[4-(N-tosyl-L-alanyloxy)phenyl]-1,4-benzoquinonimine.
USE: Useful as a substrate for measuring activity of leukocyte, esterase and protease.
PREPARATION: A compound shown by formula IV is reacted with equimolar amount W 1.5mol based on 1mol. compound shown by formula IV of a com pound shown by formula V in the presence of paratoluenesulfonic acid chloride in a solvent such as THF at 40W50°C for several hours to give a compound shown by formula I.
