Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compund of formula I [R1 is (protected) phosphono; R2 is lower aliphatic hydrocarbon group; R3 is (substituted) pyridinio or pyridiniothio; Y is N or CH], or its salt.
EXAMPLE: 7- [ 2- Ethoxyimino-2-( 5-phosphonoamino-1,2,4- thiadiazol -3-yl )- acetamido]-3-(1-pyridiniomethyl)-3-cephem-4-carboxylate (syn isomer).
USE: Preventive and remedy for bacterial infectious diseases.
PROCESS: The compound of formula I can be prepared, e.g. by reacting the compound of formula II or its reactive derivative at the carboxyl group or its salt with the compound of formula III or its reactive drivative at the amino group or its salt.
