PURPOSE: To provide a metallic colored molding composition having a bright color by blending molybdenum disulfide, as coloring component, to a polymer material in combination with an inorganic (organic) pigment and/or a polymer soluble dye and/or a pearly pigment.

CONSTITUTION: (A) A thermoplastic or thermosetting plastic or elastomer (suitably, polyvinyl chloride, polycarbonate) is blended with (B) 0.001-3%, preferably, 0.01-1%, based on A, of molybdenum disulfide which preferably has a flake or thin piece form with a grain size of 100 μm or less and a thickness of 4 μm or less, preferably contains 60-95 wt.% (hereinafter referred to as %) of a one having an average size of 1-12 μm, in particular, and is treated with stearic acid, stearyl amine or the like, and (C) 0.001-10% of an organic (inorganic) pigment and/or a polymer soluble dye (e.g. azo dye) and/or a pearlescent pigment, to provide the objective composition.
