Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal complex excellent in catalytic activity and asymmetric yield, a catalyst for asymmetric reduction using the complex, and a manufacturing method of an optical active compound using the catalyst for asymmetric reduction.SOLUTION: The invention relates to a novel optical active diamine compound of the formula (1) and a ruthenium complex, iridium complex and rhodium complex having high catalytic activity and excellent symmetric yield. The invention also relates to a manufacturing method of an optical active compound using the complex. In the formula (1), R, R, R, X, Y and Z are as defined in the claim 1.
