NEW MATERIAL:A disopyramide derivative of the formula (n is 2, 3).
EXAMPLE: 3-{3-[ 4-Diisopropylamino-2-phenyl-2-( 2-pyridyl )butyryl ]carbazoyl}propionic acid.
USE: It is used to prepare immunochemically an antigene suitable for obtaining antidisopyramide antiserum which is used to determine the serum concentration of disopyramide, as a widely used antiarrhythmic, immobilized disopyramide for stable immunocoagulation or for affinity chromatography which is used in the purification of the above-stated anti-serum, or a synthetic intermediate thereof.
PREPARATION: For example, the reaction between equimolar amounts of 4-diisopropylamino-2-phenyl-2-(2-pyridyl)acetic hydrazide and succnic or glutaric anhydride gives the compound of the formula.
