Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL: A compound of formula I [U1 is 1-4C alkyl, phenyl or the like; Z is formula II or III (Q4 is H, 2-4C alkyl substitutable which cyano; U2 is phenyl, 2-10C alkenyl or the like); (t) is 0-2; (v) is 1 or 2; X is a chromophore residue or a coupling component residue; L is formula IV (Q is H or 1-4C alkyl) or the like when X is the former, and azo group when X is the latter; and at least one of U1 and U2 is not 1-4C alkyl or phenyl].
EXAMPLE: A compound of formula V.
USE: Double attachment reactive dye.
CONSTITUTION: For example, an organic dye is reacted with a reactive compound of formula VI (A1 is formula VII or the like), whereby a compound of formula I wherein X is a chromophore residue is provided. A compound of formula VI wherein A1 is amino is a novel material.
