Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a fluorinating agent capable of being produced in an industrial method further improved technically and economically, and excellent in economics by constituting the agent of a specific organic compound.
SOLUTION: This novel fluorinating agent is obtained by constituting of a compound of formula I [R1 to R4 are each a (non)substituted (un)saturated alkyl, an (un)saturated aryl, or R1 and R2, R3 and R4 or R1 and R3 bind to constitute a ring containing N or N and other hetero atoms]. As the compound of formula I, 2,2-difluoro-1,3-dimethylimidazolidine of formula II, 2,2-difluoro-1,3- di-n-butylimidazolidine of formula III, etc., are cited. The compound of formula I is produced by a halogen exchange reaction of a compound of formula IV (X2 and X3 are each Cl or Br) with an alkali metal salt of F in a nonreactive solvent.
