Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved drug formulation containing ospemifene, where the absorption of the drug formulation is essentially increased and the variability in the plasma level is essentially decreased.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a liquid or semisolid oral drug formulation comprising a therapeutically active compound of the structural formula (I) or a geometric isomer, a stereoisomer, a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, an ester or a metabolite thereof, in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
