Abstract:

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I [R' is H, lower alkanoyl or lower alkyl; n is 1W3; X is H or halogen; Y is -CH=CH-NHR2, etc. (R2 is formyl or lower alkanoyl)].

EXAMPLE: (2-Isonitrilvinyl)-2,5-dihydroxybenzene.

USE: A biochemical reagent, antibacterial agent or antitumor substance. Showing improved protein inhibitory activity with tyrosine specificity and inhibitory activity against multiplication of cultivated cancerous cells and antibacterial activity with a low concentration.

PREPARATION: A compound shown by formula II and isocyanomethyl phosphorous acid diethyl ester shown by formula III are subjected to well-known Wittig reaction in the presence of a base (e.g. sodium hydride), optionally hydrolyzed and further hydrogenated to give a compound shown by formula I.
