NEW MATERIAL:A phosphorus amide compound shown by the formula (A is allyl type residue; X is secondary amino; Y is secondary amino or halogen).
EXAMPLE: Allyloxybis(N,N-dimethylamino)phosphine.
USE: Useful as a raw material for synthesizing phosphorus-containing compounds such as a compound for nucleoside phosphite as a raw material for polynucleotide synthesis. A phosphorus amide compound is bonded to hydroxyl group at the saccharide part of nucleoside to form nucleoside phosphite, since it has the allyl type residue as a hydroxy-protecting group, it is rapidly deprotected under a mild condition and the deprotection has advantageously neither bromine nor side reaction.
PREPARATION: A hydroxydihalogenophosphine such as hydroxy dichlorophosphine, etc., is reacted with an allylating agent such as allyl bromide, etc., to give an allyloxydihalogenophosphine, which is reacted with a secondary amine in a solvent, to give a compound shown by the formula.
