Abstract:
PURPOSE:To provide the subject composition composed of a plurality of specific polyamic acid compositions and suitable as a precursor for forming a polyimide having excellent thermal dimensional stability and mechanical properties. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) a polyamic acid having the recurring units of formula l and formula II (R1 is bivalent aromatic group; R2 is tetravalent aromatic group; X is bivalent organic group having one or more non-aromatic double bonds) at a molar ratio (I:II) of 80:20 to 20:80 and (B) a polyamic acid composed of the recurring unit of formula III (R1' is bivalent aromatic group; R2' is tetravalent aromatic group) at a molar ratio (A:B) of 20:80 to 80:20.
