Abstract:
To provide, concerning novel polypeptides and nucleic acid molecules encoding those polypeptides, vectors and host cells comprising those nucleic acid sequences, chimeric polypeptide molecules comprising the polypeptides fused to heterologous polypeptide sequences, antibodies which bind to the polypeptides and a methods for producing the polypeptides.
The novel polypeptides overnumber normal cells in human lung tumor cells with a specific sequence similar to that of a prostasin. The chimeric molecules include the peptides and an epitope-tagged sequence or an immunoglobulin Fc region. Furthermore, the antibodies specifically bind to the peptides.
