Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I(R1 is 2W12C alkyl; R2 is -OCH3, -OC16H33 or group of formula II; n is 0W2).
USE: A raw material for the production of capped porphyrine useful as a carcinostatic agent, etc. The porphyrine compound can be converted to capped porphyrine by a simple procedure.
PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by hydrolyzing the substituted propionic acid methyl ester of formula A-CH2CH2COOCH3 (A is group of formula III), converting the resultant free substituted propionic acid to acid halide with a halogenation agent (e.g. phosgene) and reacting with an ethyl ester of tyrosine, tyrosylalanine or tyrosylalanylalanine.
