Abstract:
NEW MATERIAL:A pyrimidinobenzodiazepine derivative of formula I (R is 1W12C straight or branched chain alkyl, lower hydroxyalkyl, cyclic alkyl, lower alkenyl, aralkyl, dialkylaminoalkyl, cyclic aminoalkyl, NH2; X is H halogen).
EXAMPLE: 5-Amino-3-methylpyrimidino[4,5-b]-1,5-benzodiazepine-2(3H,1H)-one.
USE: Antiulcerative.
PREPARATION: A compound of formula II is allowed to react with a primary amine of the formula: R-NH2 to give a compound of formula III and the intramolecular cyclization is carried out in the presence of an alkali catalyst to give the compound of formula I.
