Abstract:
To provide methods for treating hot flushes in a subject.SOLUTION: A method includes administering a therapeutically effective amount of a transient receptor potential channel (TRP channel) blocker or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof. Preferably, the TRP channel blocker is a TRP channel subfamily V member 1 (TRPV1) blocker, or a pharmaceutical equivalent, analog, derivative, or salt thereof. More preferably, the TRPV1 channel blocker includes a compound of the Formula (I), or a pharmaceutical equivalent, analog, derivative, or salt thereof.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
