To provide a novel phosphorescence material, particularly a novel triarylboron derivative useful in forming an electron transport layer having a wide gap suitable for a blue phosphorescence material, and an organic electroluminescent device containing the same.
The triarylboron derivative is represented by formula (1), and the organic electroluminescent device contains the same.
