To provide the nozzle blade, the moving blade, and the turbine stage of an axial-flow turbine capable of decreasing a blade loss as the strength of the tip part of the blade of the nozzle blade and the strength of the blade root part of a moving blade are secured.
Blade loss is decreased by gradually decreasing the thickness of a blade rear edge 11b from a blade tip part 11c of the nozzle blade 11 toward a blade root part 11d in the nozzle blade 11 and gradually decreasing the thickness of a blade rear end part 12b from a blade root part 12d toward a blade tip part 12c in the moving blade 12 at the same time that the blade and the blade strength of the nozzle blade 11 and the moving blade 12 are secured by setting the thicknesses of the blade rear edge 11b and the blade rear edge 12d of the blade tip part 11c of the nozzle blade 11, at which a high stress is generated during operation of a turbine, and the blade root part 12d of the moving blade 12 to respective given values.
