Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a nozzle for a mixing and dispersing device of a fluidized bed type reaction apparatus formed of a material which is not only excellent in heat, wear, corrosion and chemical resistances but is free from volumetric shrinkage at the time of sintering.
CONSTITUTION: The nozzle 2 for the mixing and dispersing device formed of reaction sintered silicon carbide which essentially consists of a silicon carbide and unreacted metal silicate and is 3.03 to 3.16g/cm3 in its density as the material is used as the nozzle 2 for the fluidized bed type mixing and dispersing device to be installed on a floor plate 1 of the fluidized bed type reaction apparatus.
