Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a nozzle for ink jet capable of printing with high resolution, relatively immune to variations in ink composition and operating temperature and other effects.
CONSTITUTION: This ink jet nozzle has two or more fluid resonances in the frequency range of interest. The ink jet nozzle has a structure composed of a number of chambers 23a, 23b and 23c. By bringing the dual resonances sufficiently close to each other in frequency, the nozzle can be actuated, being relatively immune to effects of temperature, excitation voltage and ink composition.
