PURPOSE: To improve mainly the durability of a nozzle head to prevent corrosion of the nozzle head by forming the nozzle head from mechanical alloyed chrome- nickel steel alloyed with carbon, aluminum, other specific elements and metals.
CONSTITUTION: The nozzle head 2 of a fuel injection nozzle 1 injects the fuel, for example, radially downward after the fuel is supplied to a plurality of spray bores 21 from a central duct 20. An outer wall part 22 of the nozzle head 2 opposite to each spray bore 21 is easily corroded by the increased chemical and thermal stress. To cope with this, the nozzle head 2 is formed from a specific mechanical alloyed chrome-nickel steel. The specified mechanical alloyed chrome-nickel steel is alloyed with carbon, aluminum, titanium, iron, nitrogen, oxygen and yttrium oxide. Whereby the durability of the nozzle head 2 can be improved.
