Abstract:
To allow for further improvement of fuel economy and drivability in a turbocharger.SOLUTION: A nozzle vane 1 of the present invention comprises a vane portion 8 that is provided on the outer peripheral side of a turbine impeller 4 of a turbocharger 2 and adjusts a flow rate of exhaust gas introduced into the turbine impeller 4, and a swing shaft 9 that extends to project from the end face of the vane portion 8 and swings the vane portion 8 to change the inclination of the vane portion 8 with respect to the turbine impeller 4. In the nozzle vane 1, the cross section of the vane portion 8 is formed in a teardrop shape and has airflow adjusting portions 11 formed in a concave or convex shape on the surface of the vane portion 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
