PURPOSE: To shorten the time required for the entire repairing work by reducing the exposure of an operator at the time of transporting a radioactivated diverter to a repairing place, and further facilitating the transporting work.
CONSTITUTION: A circumferential pool chamber 21 for storing water 22 is disposed in the periphery of the nuclear fusion reactor, and a radioactivated diverter 6 is filed in water 22 of the chamber 21, and then transported in the state imersed in the water 22. At the time of normal operating of generating a plasma, a leak valve is installed to discharge high-temperature high-pressure gas to the chamber 21 when the pressure in a vacuum vessel 3 is abnormally raised. Accordingly, since the water 22 shields the radiation, the operator can approach, the operator can work while visually confirming the state of the diverter 6 under the water by the operator himself. Therefore, the work is facilitated, and the time required for the work can be shortened.
