Abstract:
To elongate the service life of an apparatus by detecting a partial discharge generated by a void in an insulating body as generating a high voltage of a coil of a gradient magnetic field coil device in an MRI apparatus.
An antenna 51 is installed near gradient magnetic field coils 11, 12 and 13, voltage fluctuations generated by the partial discharge are detected by a signal processor 52, and an alarm is issued from an alarm 53 to a user to prevent fracture of the coils 11, 12 and 13.
