Abstract:

To reduce noise generated when detecting fluorescence from a nucleic acid analysis device.

The surface of the nucleic acid analysis device has a water-soluble coating film. The coating film is dissolved by aqueous solution and removed just before analysis, and then the nucleic acid is analyzed. Since the device surface has no contact with air during a period from just after production until just before analysis, adhesion of an organic substance onto the device surface can be prevented. Hereby, noise originated in an organic substance adhering onto the nucleic acid analysis device surface can be reduced, and reliability of base sequence information can be enhanced.
