To provide a new compound used for incorporating a label in nucleic acid or affecting its characteristics.
This compound containing a 6-membered ring part, especially a specific compound containing hextol or cyclohexene part is used for constructing an oligomer compound. The oligomer compound is used for hybridization and as a probe, and the method for detecting nucleic acid in a sample by using the oligomer compound is also provided.
