It is made possible to input the working program and the various data in an interactive form by incorporating a software 12 for an interactive function in the numerical control device for the composite machine. Especially, it is possible to read the various data of tool correction quantity, a work coordinate system, etc., required for working operation by making an access to a memory in which a control software 4 for the turning work and a control software 5 for the milling work by the software 12 for the interactive function when required. It is possible to display these data for turning and data for milling on the same screen in a lump and to input and set the data. Consequently, the operability is improved, and it is possible to prevent a setting error.
