To provide a numerical controller which can sufficiently use the feed performance for a work as a numerical controller which controls the acceleration of a servomotor so that the servomotor is not overloaded.
This numerical controller is equipped with a command part 11 which applies command acceleration to the servomotor 20, a parameter storage means 12 which stores a threshold parameter regarding the load on the servomotor 20, and a load measuring means 13 which measures the load on the servomotor 20. A load comparing means 13 compares the load measured by the load measuring means 13 with the threshold parameter and according to the comparison result, an acceleration adjusting means 15 varies the command acceleration to the servomotor 20. According to the varied command acceleration, a control main body part 16 controls the servomotor 20.
