Abstract:
PURPOSE: To attempt improvement of processing precision by a broach and improvement of the life of the broach by accurately clamping the broach to a pull head.
CONSTITUTION: In a numerically controlled broaching machine, a broach 20 is clamped by a pull head, and the cutting is performed by numerically- controlling the elevating drive of dram on which a work is set. A first clamp member 40 assembled to the pull head so as to be able to control its movement in the radial direction, and able to restrict the movement in the radial direction of the broach 20 and the vertical movement in relation to the axial direction and a second clamp member 50 assembled to the pull head so as to be able to control its movement in the axial direction, and able to restrict the downward movement in relation to the axial direction of the broach 20 are provided therein.
