PURPOSE: To enable an operative motion of each process to be simultaneously numerically controlled, by simultaneously controlling various machining parts comprising a machining head bed laterally moving linearly-arranged plural machining heads, cross bed longitudinally moving said machining heads and a turning unit horizontally turning said machining heads.

CONSTITUTION: A machining head bed 6 mounts plural machining heads 5 successively in the order of processes cutting or grinding an edge by an edging head 5B, chamfering by a bevel cutting head 5A, grinding a bevel cut surface by a smoothing head 5C and polishing a ground surface to be glossed by a glossing head 5D. And each turning unit of the bevel cutting head, smoothing head and the glossing head is numerically controlled collectively with a shaft C, crossing at a right angle with a direction X, serving as the rotary axis. Next, chamfering is performed by lifting a conveyer device 10 and setting a glass plate to the first machining part 9 to be attractively mounted to a fixed bed 2, and if the whole machining part 9 is operated by a numerical control, the first machining part 9 is cut, and after one round, the conveyer 10 is lifted separating the glass plate from the bed 2 to be fed to the next, thus each machining is performed by the same numerical control.
