Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a nurse call master machine for responding to a call from a nurse call slave machine to properly detect bad breath.SOLUTION: A nurse call master machine is provided with a bad breath sensor 8 for detecting bad breath near a microphone 5 of the nurse call master machine. Only when a response operation part 6 is operated to respond to a call, the nurse call master machine makes the operation of the bad breath sensor 8 effective, and when a bad breath level detected by the bad breath sensor 8 is a prescribed level or greater, the nurse call master machine displays it on a display part 4, so that a medical worker themselves can confirm that the bad breath level is high only in the case where a patient calls the medical worker and a the medical worker having responded thereto is highly likely to contact the patient. On the other hand, the operation of the bad breath sensor 8 becomes ineffective in the case where the medical worker is not likely to contact the patient such that the medical worker calls the patient or another medical worker. Accordingly, the nurse call master machine can properly detect the bad breath.
