PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in which a line is inefficient since the same number of channels as the numbers of a plurality of extension terminals that belong to a group are occupied between a nurse call control machine and a private branch exchange when calling the extension terminals that belong to the group from a slave machine, in a nurse call system that enables communication between a plurality of slave machines and a plurality of extension terminals owned by nurses that belong to a group.SOLUTION: A nurse call conversion unit is provided between a nurse call control machine and a private branch exchange. The nurse call conversion unit transmits to the private branch exchange, a call signal from the nurse call control machine for calling a group representative, to which only an identification symbol of a group is applied, and the private branch exchange generates from the call signal, a call signal of an extension terminal that belongs to a group to call each extension terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
